Exclusive Woodlands Primary School Year 5 Experience at Leigh Academy Hugh Christie
We are delighted to be working with Mrs Lonie to offer your child a unique and exciting experience at Leigh Academy Hugh Christie on Wednesday 25th June, 2025. We know that moving from primary to secondary school is a big step, and we want to give you and your child the opportunity to start experiencing life at secondary school from Year 5 onwards in a way that is exciting, engaging, and supportive.
As part of this bespoke experience, we are delighted to invite your child to take part in an exciting learning experience at Leigh Academy Hugh Christie. Pupils will enjoy a hands-on Design Technology lesson in our fully equipped workshops, an interactive Science session in one of our modern labs, and an energetic trampolining activity or an equivalent sports activity in our state-of-the-art sports hall. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to use specialist equipment and resources while getting a taste of secondary school learning.
At the end of the session, please collect your child from reception at 4:00 pm. If you would like to explore the academy, you are warmly invited to arrive earlier at 3:30 pm for a guided tour before pick-up. When you arrive, our friendly staff will be there to greet you and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to Leigh Academy Hugh Christie.
