Re: Year 13 Parent/Carer Evening – Wednesday 1st April 2026, 3:00pm–7:00pm
As you are aware, our Year 13 students are currently undertaking their second round of mock examinations. We have been pleased to see the commitment, maturity and focus many students are demonstrating as they prepare for their final A Level and vocational examinations.
This second mock series represents a critical milestone. It provides an opportunity to review progress since the first mock examinations, evaluate improvements, and identify any areas that require further targeted intervention. With final examinations approaching rapidly, it is essential that we use this moment strategically to refine revision approaches, strengthen subject knowledge, and ensure students are fully prepared for the demands of the summer examination period.
With this in mind, we will be holding a Year 13 Parent/Carer Evening, taking place face to face at the academy. This evening offers an important opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress directly with subject teachers following the most recent assessments. These discussions are invaluable in ensuring that students receive consistent guidance and support at this crucial stage of their education.
To book an appointment, please log into your MCAS account and select Parents’ Evening. Appointments will be available from 3pm today until Tuesday 31st March at 12:00 noon. Should you experience any difficulties with booking, or need to make changes after this time, please contact the Sixth Form Admin Team with your preferred subject and time, and the relevant teacher will confirm availability.
