General Entry Requirements for September 2026 Admissions

  • Academic Pathway: 5 x 5-9 grades including English and Maths at a grade 5. 
  • Vocational Pathway: 5 x 4-9 grades including English and Maths at a grade 4.

There will be further careers guidance available to help students make effective decisions about the Post 16 study pathways:

  • For internal year 11 students we will be holding interviews 1-2-1 during the school day
  • For external year 11 students we will invite you to the school to have a 1-2-1 interview with a senior colleague

Our Sixth Form Open Evening takes place on Thursday 13th November 2025.

We are delighted to invite you to our Sixth Form Open Evening. You will have the chance to speak with subject teachers and hear firsthand from our students about their experiences, giving you a genuine feel for what studying each subject is really like at Leigh Academy Hugh Christie.
